In the middle of bustling Stone Town, in walking distance from the harbor, Zenji Hotel opened its doors to welcome guests for a relaxing stay in one of the authentic styled rooms.

There are books and games on the rooftop to relax with, while enjoying a fresh juice, banana milkshake, sodas, (spice) tea or espresso coffee. The rooftop offers a beautiful view over Stone Town and the harbor, especially during sunset. Breakfast is served on the rooftop and includes fresh juice, fruits of the season, homemade bread, cake and jams, egg of your choice, various flavors of teas and espresso coffee.
Zenji Hotel involves local community and tries to stimulate local economy. All the furniture and handicrafts in the rooms are created by Zanzibari craftsmen. The food is bought from local people or homemade by our chef. All our staff is from Zanzibar. They are enthusiastic to work but not all are able to speak proper English. Although we feel it is important to give these people a chance we (and they!) work hard to improve their skills by training them on the job.
