Zanzibar Retreat Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel located on the famous Matemwe beach on the North East coast of Zanzibar. The hotel faces the longest interrupted stretch of finest white coral sand on the Spice Island making it a perfect location for long walks and swimming at high tide. The rooms are made with beautiful wood carvings, hardboard verandas and are roofed with traditional Makuti (coconut thatch). On the beach are small makuti bandas giving plenty of shade and space for relaxing and enjoying the exclusive view of the beach.
