SERENGETI SERENA SAFARI LODGE

Drawing its inspiration from the circular 'Rondavel' dwellings and winding paths of a traditional Maasai village, the Lodge features thickly-thatched, stone-built rooms, spaciously set amongst groves of indigenous trees that are cooled by sparkling streams and papyrus-fringed ponds.

There are a total of 66 rooms in the hotel. Each room is accommodated in a stone-built, traditionally-thatched 'Rondavel', featuring natural stone bathrooms, wildwood balconies, rope-lashed staircases, leopard-print drapes and intricately carved furniture, the overall effect of which is a unique blend of authentic ethnicity and world-class elegance.

SERENGETI SOPA LODGE

Serengeti Sopa Lodge is situated a little way off the beaten track in the vicinity of the Seronera area. Superbly positioned on the Nyarboro Hills in the South West of the Serengeti it has great views of the plains below. Looking out over the seemingly endless Serengeti plains, this hillside lodge is a tranquil oasis. Year round water and the acacia woodland in the area, create an ideal environment for the wide variety of wildlife seen in the vicinity of the lodge.

The lodge was constructed in the intriguing style of a Maasai manyatta, each building with rounded corners & flat roofs. There are 79 luxury suites, each enjoying wall-to-wall carpeting, a private lounge with a mini bar, a bedroom with two queen size beds and ample room for a third, an en-suite bathroom with shaver sockets and a hair dryer, and a private verandah which offers stunning views over the plains.

SERENGETI WILDERNESS CAMP (Wild Frontiers)

Serengeti Wilderness Camp is a ‘seasonal’ camp located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The style of camp is simple, but with every comfort being taken care of. Seasonal camps have the benefit of being able to move to some of the best game viewing areas of the park and every three to six months they move to a new location. They work under Park’s guidelines and the camp is truly eco-friendly.

Comprising just ten spacious tents, they provide comfortable beds and quality linen, with en suite eco-friendly toilet and bush-shower off an intimate dressing room area. Lighting is by 12-volt (solar powered) with bedside lamps provided. The tents each have a shady verandah, where guests may relax and read quietly or perhaps watch birds and animals.A large, airy, central dining tent offers a comfortable lounge area with a small reference library and maps, and a recharging facility for cameras and videos. The safari chef prepares sumptuous meals for your enjoyment and special dietary requests are taken into consideration. They also have a typical safari campfire in the evenings for guests to enjoy sundowners and snacks, and relive the day’s experiences. The staff will cater to your every need, and will be on attendance virtually around the clock! They provide a friendly, intimate quality tented bush camp, with good facilities in an amazing area, with due respect given to the fragile ecosystem.

SERONERA WILDLIFE LODGE

Built around an enormous rock kopje in the heart of the Serengeti, the Seronera Wildlife Lodge is the ideal place to follow the migration of the wildebeest. Situated on the edge of the Seronera River, this is the perfect starting point for safaris setting out to discover the fabulous wildlife of Africa. The friendly staff, the hyraxes and mongooses that live in and around the lodge and the nice way the public areas are built around the kopje helps to makes a stay at the lodge a pleasant one.

The Lodge offers 75 self-contained guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, build in two blocks of two storeys. All rooms have a view over the Serengeti Park, and are fitted with mosquito nets. The Pango lounge bar is quite nice and there is also the Ikoma sundowner bar including a very nice bar terrace offering beautiful views out across the plains to the west.

MBALAGETI SERENGETI

The name originates from the name of the river, Mbalageti River, which can be seen from all angles of the Mwamveni hill. A unique safari living experience, located off the beaten track. The location where tranquility is guaranteed and nature is to be enjoyed in all its facets, includes viewing the ever impressive migration of the Wildebeests, Zebra’s and Topi’s etc. A lot of natural materials were used.

Mbalageti offers standard rooms, tented chalets and a presidential suite. The standard rooms are typical with ensuite bathrooms. All the tented chalets are private and are situated in such a way that both the astonishing view and the immediate surroundings have not been tampered with. The 24 tented chalets are luxurious with ensuite bathrooms and private veranda. The presidential suite offers a little extra of everything and a private outdoor bath right in the wild. Being spacious and with its two en suite bedrooms, lounge veranda with all the luxurious items you might wish for, the suites are the perfect accommodation for the more exclusive safari traveler.

GRUMETI RIVER CAMP

Grumeti River Camp is situated in a remote valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park east of Lake Victoria – Africa’s largest lake. Flanked by two hillsides, this flamboyant camp overlooks a by-water of the Grumeti River and offers a comfortable haven from which to experience the truly wild pulse of Africa.

Grumeti’s spacious tents under ‘makuti’ (palm frond) canopies and the vibrancy of colorful interiors - including hand-blown Kenyan glassware, African cloth and local sculptured furnishings - bring alive the excitement of Africa. Each tented suite features a large bed made of Tanzanian cypress and comfortable deck furniture both in and outdoors. MIGRATION CAMP SERENGETI

This luxury camp is hidden amongst the rocky outcrops or kopjes in Northern Serengeti, exuding decadence reminiscent of Old Africa. Located on the path of the world’s largest mammal migration. The reception is charmingly incorporated into the main lounge area, with comfortable leather couches and tastefully decorated to blend in with the surroundings, facing the swimming pool and the tents below.

FARU FARU LODGE

Faru Faru Lodge is one of the Singita Goup properties. Situated in the private Grumeti Reserves, it is one of just three luxury lodges in the practically untouched wild-animal preserves. The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 54 guests. No safari could be more individual and exclusive.

IKOMA BUSH CAMP

Ikoma Bush Camp is set in the midst of an incredible vista of savannah and skies, sheltered in a grove of acacia trees. Simplicity and rusticness are the ambiance of the camp. Ikoma benefited from an upgrade when the camp was outfitted with new tents and attached bathrooms. Ideally situated along the path of the migrating wildebeest between Kenya and Tanzania, the camp is situated at the border of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.

IKOMA SAFARI CAMP

Ikoma Safari Camp is a quaint tented camp, located on the main wildebeest migration route between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is a permanent tented camp in the Serengeti, Ikoma region in Tanzania. The Camp is set up on endless savanna with impressive bush and scattered with acacia trees. Other facilities include a restaurant and a bar. Ikoma Safari Camp is located along the migratory path which peaks around June to October when the herds pass through the area. KENSINGTON CAMP SERENGETI

Kensington Serengeti Wilderness Camp offers 10 luxury tents. The ‘Suswa’ tents have been meticulously spread under the shade of the towering Marula trees in a grove not far from the Grumeti River, where huge crocodiles await their nervous prey. Tended to by the attentive staff, guests can wind down and reflect on the sights and sounds over soothing sundowner drinks with unforgettable views of the setting sun. KUHAMA CAMP

Kuhama Camp offers you the whole experience of communing with the nature, combined with 5 star comfort and service. 'Kuhama' is the Swahili word for 'to move.' Nothing can be compared to the experience of camping in the heart of the African bush.

Kuhama Camp has 15 tents that provide a complete feeling of adventure combined with maximum comfort. The tents are furnished with every detail: beds and bed side tables, mattresses, carpets, lamps, luggage rack, safari armchairs and table in the verandah, ensuite bathroom with hot water shower, washbasin and flushing toilet. The ample windows with mosquito net keep the tents ventilated and insect free.

Kuhama Camp has electricity trough solar panels and generators ensuring that clients will always have the maximum comfort.

Mwanga Moto Camp is under Firelight Expeditions. They specialise in luxurious adventure. The tents are spacious each with its own screened verandah. King sized beds, duvets, hot showers. KLEIN'S CAMP

Klein’s Camp is situated in a 10 000 hectare / 24 500 acre wilderness concession and provides the ultimate exclusive East African safari. It is bordered to the north by the Maasai Mara and by the Serengeti in the west. Klein’s is situated on the return route of the migration – mid October to November. Guests enjoy their safari on the Klein’s Camp wilderness concession or in the Serengeti National Park. Unique to this camp as opposed to other camps in Tanzania is the fact that night game drives and bush walks are offered and driving off-road in open game-viewing vehicles is permitted. Maasai trackers accompany all game drives and on bush walks offer an insight into the medicinal use of plants. Nduara Loliondo was designed to celebrate Nomadic cultures around the world: a combination of the Mongolian Gers, and Maasai ‘bomas.’ The outcome of this heady mix of culture, style, comfort and wilderness is the most amazing camp you will ever see.

Nduara Loliondo moves its yurts across the Loliondo area, part of the great Serengeti eco-system, bordering the Serengeti National Park. SERENGETI SAFARI CAMP

Serengeti Safari Camp travels within the Serengeti National Park and surrounding area, where densities of animals are mostly higher, and the chance of seeing large predators is much greater. It's the base for exciting game drives - conquering the landscapes and absorbing the sheer hugeness of it all. Daily adventures are yours to plan with your own guide to take you into the midst.

Serengeti Safari Camp is semi-nomadic - it won't move while you're there - but it's actually on a wide orbit, shadowing the Migration: so you, your own Tanzanian driver/guide and private 4WD vehicle are as close to a million wildebeest as possible.

SUYAN CAMP

Far from the madding crowd, Suyan Camp has only 5 guest tents, offers gourmet food, great wines, and all the comforts you can possibly expect. Yet a stay here is not about luxury. It is about discovery, exploration and nature in its overwhelming totality.

For thousands of years, the rugged Loliondo land has been the territory of nomadic tribes, hunting and herding for a living. A stay in the intimate Suyan Camp reflects the history of the land. Although the camp is the home base of a stay in the area, walking safaris and fly camping will take you deep into this wild and ancient land. Here you will find wildlife, mountains, gorges, volcanoes, Maasai settlements and the peace and tranquility of endless nature with not a human in sight.

OLAKIRA CAMP

'Olakira' means 'star' in Maasai and with its sister camp, (Sayari Camp), on the Mara River, they cover the best areas of the vast Serengeti National Park. Whilst the mobile nature of Olakira Camp allows it to move to the densest concentrations of wildlife, it manages to surprise with its spaciousness and comfort.

A stay at Olakira Camp is not about 5 star luxury. It is about being in the middle of this wonderful spectacle, with wild animals roaming around camp at night, which is a dream come true to even the most experienced of travelers.

DUNIA CAMP

Dunia Camp is unique and has 7 spacious en suite tents with flush toilets, large bathrooms and a private veranda overlooking the ‘Kopjes’ (rocky outcrops). The camp is available on full board as well as game package basis.

A close knit team of staff provides guests with a warm welcome and prepares delicious bush meals under the stars of the Serengeti sky.

KIRURUMU SERENGETI CAMP

Kirurumu Serengeti Camp is a luxury mobile camp, moved seasonally to take best advantage of the vast Serengeti. The camp is used as a base, a spring board for an early morning game drive, a break for a sumptuous lunch, a respite from the heat of the day and the finale to a day’s adventure where stories can be swapped around a fire.
