The Resort is made up in a longitudinal manner, starting from the reception, located by the seaside, and follows threw the main avenue where all of the rooms, the restaurant and the pool can be found; creating a homely and functional environment for the clients. At the end of the avenue, you will be completely stunned by the different shades of blue of the Indian Ocean and the white Uroa sandy beaches that will captivate your eyes. The low tide allows you to walk along the “Sand-bank” and go for relaxing and pleasant walks.The Resort’s central meeting place has a spectacular roof top made out of ‘makuti’ where you can find the reception, the information desk, the boutique and the main bar with the living area where you can get away from the animated games and just simply read to relax or play games such as billiard, table soccer or ping pong.

Location
The Palumbo Reef resort has just recently been built and is located in Uroa on the eastern central coast of the island of Zanzibar and is close to Kiwengwa, about 40 km from Stone Town airport and easily accessible, about 50 km, to asphalt roads.

Accommodation
There are 100 rooms in the resort. They are scattered throughout the tropical garden located in a two floor building and are divided into 28 “Standard”, 32 “Deluxe”, 6 “Jungle”, 24 “Junior Suite”, 8 “Suite” and one “Presidential Suite”, and most of the rooms overlook the Indian Ocean. Every room is furnished in a Zanzibar style decor and has a small garden or terrace, a double bed with a mosquito nets, a desk, a wardrobe with mirror, a luggage holder, a fan, air conditioning, a television (except in the standard rooms), a safe and a hair dryer. The “Junior Suites” also have a living area with a pull out sofa bed. All of the suites are suitable for families because they can accommodate up to 4 people. The “Presidential Suite”, also has a kitchen, a family room, a dining room and two double bed rooms with their own bathrooms and their own personal staff.

Restaurant & Bars
The restaurant offers a buffet service and is located in front of the pool, overlooking the sea. It offers Italian and the typical local cuisine, made up mainly of fresh home made pasta dishes, fresh grilled fish, sweets and plenty of tropical fruit sliced on request. Every week there is a typical Zanzibar theme dinner and a gala dinner. It is also possible to reserve a romantic lobster dinner (at an additional). The main bar is located in the main building where the reception is located. Following which you will also find an open-air, covered relaxing area located by the poolside where the second bar is situated. The third bar is located directly on the beach.

Swimming Pool
There is a swimming pool that overlooks the ocean. Sun loungers with cushions and beach towels are available for the clients by the pool or at the beach (towels provided by the resort with a deposit).
