Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge is a quaint lodge, which borders the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area and its forest, located close to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, home of the biggest and game rich national parks in the world, is located in a hill with a breathtaking landscape in Ayalabe area near Karatu.
Accommodation
The lodge comprises of 7 tents constructed on wooden platforms. From your tent you will enjoy panoramic views. Ngorongoro Forest lodge tents are spacious, over 150 square feet. Each tent has a private en suite WC, an inside and outside tent shower with hot water at disposal, verandas, beds (queen or king size), writing table, safari tables, chairs, closet, mirrors, washbasins, towels, etc.

Public Areas
The Lounge bar overlooks the forest reserve and the wildlife corridor of Lake Manyara. It has vast windows and a telescope for stargazing. Local and international beverages are on offer at the Lounge barMeals are served in the Restaurant or on the terrace near the campfire. All food is fresh! All the staff are well trained, friendly and fully dedicated.
Activities
Fly Camping: To visit and really enjoy the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Forest Lodge have their own private luxury tented fly camps located in the middle of the Serengeti to enjoy the true bush in the “out of Africa” style. A truly unforgettable experience!

Cultural Tour: You can also make cultural trips to the Maasai, Datoga and Hadzabe villages.
Walking Safari: They organize walking safaris into local villages, the Ngorongoro Forest and its surroundings, Ngorongoro Concession area, the Olduvai escarpment, the Karatu area, the lake Eyasi, descends on foot to Empaakai Crater and longer treks to Oldoinyo Lengai and Lake Natron.
