Marumbi Beach Ora Resort has just recently been built, using material that respect the surrounding context, keeping the African style, but with European kind of systems, in order to create a functional ambiance, for giving the best service to clients. It is distinguished by silence and tranquility that surrounds it. It’s the ideal place for relaxing far from the city. The beach cove-shaped in front of the ‘village’ is subject to the typical Indian ocean tides in Zanzibar, from time to time they create diverse landscapes.

Location
located in Uroa on the eastern central coast of the island of Zanzibar and is close to Marumbi, about 35 km from Stone Town airport and easily accessible, about 50 km, on asphalted roads.

Accommodation
The Marumbi ‘village’ consists of 50 rooms immersed in the green, all with sea views and carefully furnished in local style. The rooms are very spacious and feature living room, bedroom and bathroom. They have private facilities, air conditioning and ceiling fans, mosquito nets, safe box, mini bar, Italian sockets, verandahs overlooking the sea with table and chairs. Possible quadruple rooms available.

Dining
The restaurant, with buffet service, welcomes tourists with its kitchen “show-cooking”style, under its big ‘makuti’ roof, facing the ocean. Every week there is a typical Zanzibar theme dinner and a gala dinner. It is also possible to reserve a romantic lobster dinner (at an additional cost).
