Tarangire Camp is a safari camp located in a private campsite outside the Tarangire National Park. The camp is ideal place to explore the best of Tarangire's amazing game viewing. Tarangire is the fourth biggest National Park in Tanzania and its very diverse habitats, supporting an equally rich variety of mammals, birds and flora, make it a delight to explore. Magnificent 1000-year-old giant Baobab trees punctuate the Park and large herds of elephant and other game seasonally swell the large numbers of resident game. Being set outside the park, walking and short night game drives are key draws to this intimate bush camp.

Location
Tarangire Camp was relocated to Tamarind Camp which is ideally situated for Tarangire National Park. It is 2 hours from Arusha, 1 hour from Makuyuni and 2 hours from Lake Manyara National Park and Kirurumu Tented Lodge.

Accommodation
Tarangire Camp’s accommodation comprises of 5 double and twin customized safari tents. Each tent is fully and tastefully furnished with comfortable, (twin or double) beds, Luggage rack, table, safari chairs, mats & soft furnishings in individual style. Solar lighting in both the bedroom and en suite loo and shower room.

Facilities
A locally furnished dining tent for breakfast, lunch and romantic, candle-lit dinners! There is a campfire for evening relaxation.

Activities
The following activities are all possible:

• Day and half day game drives in Tarangire National Park (entrance 15 minutes from camp).
• Ethno-botanical guided walks (with local Maasai) outside the park boundary.
• Cultural interaction with, and tours of, the Maasai village of Mosakini, which is in part supported by the camp
• Cultural interaction and visits to Mangati pastoral peoples on the edge of Lake Manyara

Private Luxury Camping
The private luxury camping is a boutique product designed for guests that require an entirely private experience - in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire or indeed any location in Northern Tanzania. Kirurumu simply provide the camp and crew and make sure that your guests are never left wanting for anything. These private camps are NOT branded and they can even brand the camp according to requirements.
