Golden Tulip hotel with its seaside location gives fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. The architecture is inspired by the Arabic influences of the Swahili Coast and provides a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. The entrance hall is spectacular with its stately pillars, rotunda and grand dome. The city centre, main business area, international organizations and embassies are all located nearby.
Location
Golden Tulip, Dar es Salaam is situated in the tranquil green area of the Msasani Peninsula, Dar es Salaam. The airport is situated 18 kilometres from the hotel on the outskirts of the city.
Accomodation
The Golden Tulip Dar es Salaam has 84 full sized rooms, 4 executive suites, 2 diplomatic suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All rooms and suites have sea views with private balcony and offer all the comfort you would expect of an international hotel on the East African Coast. All rooms are air conditioned and are equipped with satellite television, a large writing desk, in-room safe, direct dial international telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are all marble finished and equipped with hairdryers. They offer 24 hour room service and laundry services.

The Executive Suite: The four Executive suites, offer the ideal accommodation for the traveler who stays longer than average and is in need of a living room and a comfortable bedroom. Receiving guests is easy due to the separate entrance and guest bathroom. A private terrace on the ocean side adjoining the garden offers a relaxed environment.
The Diplomatic Suite: The hotel offers two Diplomatic suites. These suites offer the perfect accommodation for the well-seasoned traveler and have a full ocean view and balcony. The suite consists of a bedroom with jacuzzi and bathroom and a living room combined with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and guest bathroom.
The Presidential Suite: This is the largest Presidential Suite in Tanzania, it offers ultimate comfort with a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean and the skyline of Dar es Salaam and hosts heads of state, celebrities, newly-weds and guests that appreciate comfort, quality, discretion and security.
Meetings, Conferences & Events
The modern banquet rooms are the perfect venue for meetings, seminars, cocktail parties, dinners and other business functions for up to five hundred people. They have several convenient sized rooms (Ngorongoro, Saadani, Manyara and Selous) with daylight, and all are air conditioned. The rooms have all necessary technical equipment:

Located on the oceanfront, with cool natural sea breeze throughout the day, these all weather shaded areas are comfortable and spectacular venues for product launches, corporate functions, theme parties, concerts, theatre productions, weddings, banquets and cocktail parties. You have not been at a nicer venue so close to the Indian Ocean.
Restaurants and Bars
Sanaa Restauraunt: The fine dining restaurant Sanaa (Swahili word for art) is situated on the first floor and offers modern fusion cuisine. The restaurant is air conditioned and offers a magnificent view over the landscaped gardens and the Indian Ocean.
Maasai Bar & Grill: The Maasai Bar is on the ocean front and offers the ideal venue for a relaxing meal or drink in the company of friends. There are live performances by ‘Shobore Band’ on Fridays and Saturdays.
D – Lounge: D - Lounge is located in the shopping arcade and offers daily fresh pastries and sweets, and house blend coffee from the Tanzanian coffee fields. Cakes for celebrations or any other occasion can be ordered.

The Infinity Pool will help you relax with the fantastic Indian Ocean horizon all around. This is the largest and most exclusive swimming pool in Dar es Salaam. The pool surface majestically blends in with the horizon of the Indian Ocean. Massage, manicure and pedicure available by the poolside every weekend.
