E Unoto Retreat is the only luxury lodge in which guests can discover the Maasai culture while staying in pure luxury. ‘E Unoto’ is one of the Maasai's most important ceremonies, a joyous occasion during which warriors choose their wives and enter into junior elder-hood. Singing, dancing and counseling accompany this month long celebration.

E Unoto highlights typical Maasai construction and detailing of furnishings. These concepts have been upgraded and utilized luxuriously to furnish the lodge.  The setting of natural beauty overlooking Lake Miwaleni and the Great Rift escarpment hovering above create an "Adam and Eve" atmosphere. The lodge was constructed incorporating traditional Maasai methods combined with environmental awareness. Location
It is located in a secluded and natural spot in the Maasai plains outside Lake Manyara National Park, and is easily accessible by road and air, approximately 120 kilometers southwest of Arusha. It is centrally located to all the famous and well-known national parks: Serengeti Plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire Park and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Bungalows
E Unoto Retreat is the ideal African escape for individuals, couples, families, honeymooners and conference/incentive groups. 25 most luxurious bungalows with their own private verandahs provide unique and comfortable experiences for guests. Bungalows are secluded, with private lake views and a close walk to the beautiful waterfall.
