Emayani is a small & friendly lodge built in a coconut grove on the shore of Tanzania’s mainland, just opposite to Zanzibar Island. They have a gift shop. Location Located on Tanzania's mainland coast, 16km south of Pangani/ Tanga Accommodation There are 12 thatched bandas all directly facing the Indian Ocean are constructed from locally renewable materials. 10 bandas have king sized beds & 2 bandas have twin beds. The rooms are spacious with all beds having mosquito nets. All bandas are en suite with solar heated water + 24 hour power with large verandahs. Complimentary morning tea & coffee are served at your banda. Dining Enjoy hearty breakfasts, lunches and dinners. They are flexible with special dietary requirements and also offer early dinners for kids. There is a well Stocked bar.

Point of Interest Emayani has turtle eggs that they transferred to the protected spot which are now hatching. Hundreds of baby turtles have already emerged. More hatchings are expected. They have been awarded a turtle protection certificate from Sea Sense.
