MOUNTAIN VILLAGE LODGE

The Mountain Village Lodge is located on a coffee plantation 20km from Arusha. This beautiful traditional "African Village" creation is surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees, which overlooks Lake Duluti where about 130 different bird species have been recorded.The main restaurant and bar are located in the old colonial farmhouse.The lodge offers 42 rooms, all with lush tropical gardens and lake view.

NAURA SPRINGS HOTEL

The Naura Springs Hotel is located on East Africa Community Road just off the Arusha/ Moshi road in Arusha city, within close proximity to the Arusha International Conference Center (AICC) and enjoying views of the magnificent Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Hotel is easily accessible, being only forty five minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), one and half hours from the Namanga border and five (5) minutes from the city center.

The hotel offers 120 rooms which include standard rooms, executive rooms, family suites and 4 presidential suites.

THE ARUSHA HOTEL

Arusha, formerly known as the New Arusha Hotel, underwent an extensive renovation and refurbishment program is now the only five star hotel in Arusha town. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens with all the amenities and luxury for the discerning traveler. The tropical gardens are home to many birds and exotic plants, an ideal setting for relaxation.

The Arusha has 86 rooms including 4 suites, 25 deluxe rooms and 57 standard rooms. Elegantly furnished with en-suite bathrooms equipped with bathroom amenities and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room is fitted with satellite television with a selection of channels, hair dryer and an electronic safe. Rooms also have direct dial phones, wireless internet and air-conditioning.

HATARI LODGE

Hatari Lodge is located adjoining one of Africa’s most beautiful and diverse national parks (Arusha National Park), where panoramic views of the world’s highest free standing mountain, Kilimanjaro rises majestically and the less famous Mount Meru stands.

“Hatari-Lodge” is decorated in a retro style, evoking the 60’s and 70’s. Hatari Lodge consists of three buildings beautifully situated in acacia woodland with breathtaking views onto the Momella swamp, rich with wildlife, and across to the majestic Kilimanjaro. The oldest building serves as a large central living and dining room where guests will enjoy their meals. Views from the Hatari terrace and the walkway out onto the seasonal Momella swamp frame all these wonders and spectacles.

L'OASIS LODGE

Great care has been taken in constructing this charming lodge in which the privacy of guests is ensured along with the convivial nature of the establishment. Nestled away in a quiet residential area of Arusha known as Sekei, L'Oasis Lodge is set in lush, private grounds facing Mt. Meru. The surrounding area is inhabited by an 'extended family' of exotic flamingos, crowned crane, spoonbills and herons.

There are twenty (20) rooms that vary, ranging from self contained apartments for those planning extended stays, to traditional cottages set amongst well-maintained lawns and lily ponds. All rooms have 'en-suite' facilities and are simply but tastefully furnished. A mixture of indigenous and modern design is cleverly balanced to provide comfort. Rooms on stilts offer superb views of Mt. Meru and its undulating surroundings, whilst rooms at ground level are spacious enough to accommodate family groups.

ILBORU SAFARI LODGE

This resort is set on 5 acres of land is a home away from home.. Situated in the green belt, North of Arusha with spacious natural gardens with beautiful tropical flowers and vast manicured lawns lies the Ilboru Safari Lodge. It has a swimming pool and ample parking. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that this Lodge offers.

The design is based on local tradition and beauty. Tastefully decorated thatched rondavels set in a traditional style that is uniquely African each with two self contained large rooms. Delightfully spacious rooms that are significantly larger than the standard rooms found in similar tourist hotels and lodges, with twin beds and a balcony which provide picturesque views of the well kept grounds. Rooms with triple and Queen beds are available on request.

MOIVARO COFFEE LODGE

Moivaro Lodge is situated some 7km from Arusha, among small holding coffee and banana farms. The hotel is the dream of a young Dutch hotelier couple. The high-ceilinged main building fronts onto a large lawn and offers spectacular views of Mt. Meru.

The lodge offers 23 private, semidetached cottages, which are simple but elegantly furnished. Each cottage offers a spectacular view of Mt. Meru from the private verandahs. Moivaro is very child-friendly. The restaurant serves a variety of homemade soups, along with vegetables from its own organic garden. The main building contains the dining room and a verandah, as well as a bar and games room.

ARUSHA SAFARI LODGE (FORMERLY SAFARI SPA)

Arusha Safari Lodge (previously known as Safari Spa) is a grand private residence set in lush expansive grounds complete with an “Out of Africa style” gazebo summer house for afternoon tea and sundowners. Arusha Safari Lodge is a quaint secluded luxury haven equipped to cater for discerning travelers and consists of 7 luxurious and spacious guest cottages and is tucked away on volcanic hills with spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. It is located only four kilometres outside of Arusha.

All cottages are privately set with views of the swimming pool and lush gardens and furnished with Zanzibar beds. Facilities include a tennis court, a fitness centre with a fully equipped gym. A jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and tropical pool provide pampering at its very best. Massage is available, and especially appreciated by guests arriving back from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. The lodge goes to great lengths to ensure all guests are personally taken care of.

KIA LODGE

KIA Lodge is located just under 3 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The lodge is situated on a secluded hill in the heart of beautiful savannah scenery that is so typical of East Africa. Guests can admire the vast views of the African plains and of course the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro which reveals her snowy peak in the early morning and at sundown.

The Lodge is your first or last step into or out of Tanzania. The Zanzibar style at the reception, Makonde woodcarvings in the rooms and the famous Tinga Tinga paintings can be found in the tropical restaurant. The open bar gives you the opportunity to drink a cold ‘Kilimanjaro’ beer while gazing at the panoramic scenery of Kilimanjaro. Relax at the hilltop swimming pool with views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, the Blue Mountains and the Maasai plains.

ARUMERU RIVER LODGE

This magnificent new lodge is spread over 12 acres (ca. 50,000 sq.m.) of beautifully landscaped gardens and natural African bushland, bordering on a river lined with precious large old trees. Arumeru River Lodge was built on the site of an old coffee farm. The accent is on traditional eco-friendly African architecture.

MOUNT MERU GAME LODGE

Mount Meru Game Lodge is located within 33 acres of mature, well manicured gardens bounded on one side by the tranquil waters of the Usa River and on the other by the Sanctuary where wildlife and birdlife reside. This wildlife and birdlife provide the guests with their first exciting game viewing experience.

RIVERTREES COUNTRY INN

Rivertrees, is nestled between Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, in natural gardens along the Usa River. Combining old world ambiance, African country elegance, excellent farm cuisine, personal service and genuine warmth from your hosts - Rivertrees is simply a magical place to stay.

Rivertrees is a small Country Inn accommodating up to 24 guests, guaranteeing privacy, personal attention and service. Our eight self contained guest rooms are located in the charming main farm house or within the spacious gardens. Our two 'River Cottages' offer private decks and wood burning fire places. Emphasis is made on providing comfortable accommodation, each room individually styled and uniquely furnished with its own character.

ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE

Arusha Coffee Lodge lies in one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, surrounded by endless acres of berry laden coffee bushes. It is designed around the original plantation house giving one the feel of days gone by. Located strategically on the western edge of Arusha town and five (5) minutes from the Arusha airport.

The décor is based on earth colors which is the concept used in all plantation houses. The eighteen (18) plantation houses are designed around the original house. Each house is lavishly furnished with a split level, fireplace, wooden floors, low lighting, woven floor rugs and spacious verandah. The bathroom is spacious, with basin, bath tub, shower, hair-dryer and bath robe.

The New Safari Hotel located along Boma road is a welcome addition to modern facilities catering to visitors in Arusha. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. NGURDOTO MOUNTAIN LODGE

Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge is located within a lush coffee plantation, 140 acres, with natural streams flowing through the property, from Mt Meru. The lodge is nestled between Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro. The lush vegetation and the magnificent views of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro and the looming Mt Meru, right in front of the lodge, is an absolutely awesome sight. This lodge is ideally located between Arusha town and Kilimanjaro International Airport, 27 km either way.

There are twin reception areas to accommodate simultaneous check in for both individuals and groups. Water gushing under the floor boards, coming down from Mt Meru, gives them a very unique charm.

COLOBUS MOUNTAIN LODGE & CAMPSITE

Immediately outside the southern boundary of Arusha National Park lies Colobus Mountain Lodge scenically located in the shadow of Mount Meru. Emerald-green grass, tropical plants and exotic trees and shrubs proliferate throughout this locale. The centerpiece of this rustic site is an open-sided bar and restaurant with a tall thatched roof, serving first-rate Western and Tanzania cuisine. Eighteen (18) self-contained and well-appointed bungalows are scattered throughout the spacious grounds along well-lit pathways. This property is host to a campsite, which is equipped with a cooking area and security lights. A toilet/shower block for campers is located outside the large lounge/dining area.

BOUGAINVILLEA SAFARI LODGE

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge aims to provide guests with simple homely comforts at a reasonable price. This simple but comfortable safari lodge is a great place to take a break in the middle of safari, or to start your next safari adventure. The lovely garden atmosphere gives you plenty of room to relax.

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge currently has 32 stone bungalows set in landscaped gardens, and linked by hedged walkways. Each cozy room is generously proportioned has mosquito-netted king or twin beds, a fireplace, hair dryer, large bathroom with shower (hot and cold water), and a veranda from which to enjoy the views of our lush tropical gardens. Triples are possible with prior notice and two of the cottages can be used as family suites, with connecting rooms.
